REGISTRATION FOR SNOW AND ICE CONTROL WORKSHOPS


Event Description: Snow and ice control is a complex process. The variability in conditions, equipment, materials and personnel create challenges from weather based decision making to basic training on best practices for in storm operations. This course will cover personal and operational safety, plowing techniques, salt and abrasive application as well as decision making based on the forecast and actual in storm conditions. The course will close out with a discussion on post event considerations. The sources for a wealth of resources will be discussed in the course to allow for education and training beyond the workshop.
